What we'll cover
What are the Support and Agent Pins?
The Support Pin is required when contacting us over the phone so that we can verify you are you and not someone else trying to steal your information. The Agent Pin is used for you to verify that you are speaking to someone from Ghost and not a tech support scam or someone else trying to steal your data. Both are unique for your specific account and are automatically generated when you signed up.
Treat both pins as a key to your house. Don't share them unless you need to and fully trust that person with your account details and to not make any unwanted changes.
IMPORTANT: We will NEVER ask for your agent pin! If someone calls you claiming to be us and they can't verify your Agent Pin, hang up.
Where are the Support and Agent Pins?
Both pins can found inside your Ghost account by following these instructions.
- Login to your Ghost account
- Click on your user profile picture on the top right. If you're on a desktop or laptop computer, the profile picture will also have your name to the right of it.
- You will now see both your Support Pin and Agent Pin in the drop down menu under the Sign Out link.
What happens if I can't verify my Support Pin?
If you're unable to verify your Support Pin, let us know and we'll work with you to either find your support pin or to verify your account through an alternate method.
